The Descriptor Program is a marketing strategy that includes the use of different names to communicate to guests the types of hotel products and amenities to expect at Best Western hotels. The use of BEST WESTERN®, BEST WESTERN PLUS® and BEST WESTERN PREMIER® descriptors will allow our hotels to compete more effectively and open doors to new customers and owners that may not consider Best Western today.
Best Western’s primary considerations in accepting new Members are quality and location. Our reason for being in business is to enhance the profitability of our Membership. New Members preferably should be located in markets which generate new or different business to the system and wherein Best Western does not currently have adequate representation.
